Prompts

Quick Links  |  Prompt art guidelines  |  Prompt turn-in  |  General Prompt Group Folder

Entering Prompts

Most prompts are designed to be used with your own tessarium character, but If you don't have one yet you can enter General & Mini prompts with the Group Mascots to earn TC and badges in the meantime. Other kinds of prompts you can do with a tessarium character are Questlines, which include Skill and Affinity prompts.

Check the Prompt Art Guidelines to understand what counts as a scene, fullbody, etc.

Please note you cannot combine prompts to claim 2 badges at once, except for mascot badges - You can earn these along with the prompt badge by drawing the corresponding mascot in any prompt.
Prompt Turn-in

Mini Prompts

Mini prompts are simpler prompts that don't get you badges, but still earn TC. These can be done as many times as you like.

Munch - What's your character's favorite food?
Fun - What is your character's favorite way to have fun?
Hunt - Show your character scavenging for items, food, or treasure.

Swim
- Show your character going for a swim! (or maybe they hate swimming?)
Ouch - Show your character getting hurt or after they got hurt. How did it happen?
Alternate Universe- draw your character as a human, anthro, or gijinka! What do they do normally in this world?

General Prompts

General prompts earn you Badges and more TC than mini prompts!
They are all character-focused prompts, so you'll need to use either your own tessarium character or the group mascots to earn the rewards. You are free to interpret the prompt how you like as long as you meet the prompt's art requirements.

Submitting: When you have everything ready, submit your prompt entries to the General Prompts folder, then turn them in for TC & badges here.

Style CHameleon

Draw your character in at least 6 different art styles from animated shows or other artists! You can also transform your character to make it fit into the world of the show more- ie. if you're drawing a dragon character to fit into spongebob, you could draw it as a sea dragon.

When you're analyzing the style you'll be adapting, pay attention to the following:
  • Posing & expression- What's the norm or range for these in your source?
  • Shapes: Are the characters very geometric, or very soft and rounded?
  • Line style and weight: Are the lines precise or sketchy, thick or thin? Do they vary in thickness, and where?
  • Color use: style comes through in color choices as well. What kind of color choices does the source make? Are they usually muted, darkened, high-contrast, or oversaturated more than what you would use? Try to experiment with using color-picked colors from the source.
  • Think about how the source might be drawing and how you'll imitate it- will you need to use bigger, looser strokes than normal? Will you need to work in blocks of color instead of line?
