Side Species

These are considered Familiars & Background species! These species are not uploaded to the masterlist.

You can use any of these in your pieces, but they don't count towards you TC unless there's a bonus for having them listed. When you draw them, you can make them with any colors, patterns or features you like as long as they fit within the look and description of the species. When you earn a familiar through an event or the Familiar Prompts, you can put it in your Inventory/Log.

Main Species

They have a great range of variation, and their appearance can vary depending on the environment - rainforest plant imps will have rainforest plants, desert plant imps can have succulents or cacti. Flying hecks are the pigeons of tessarium- they're not very smart but they are everywhere. They can come in a range of colors, usually with the markings shown. They make a noise that sounds like "heck" as they flap their wings.
Picture

Noodlefish

Status: Open
Noodlefish are found in warm zones, in freshwater and brackish areas. They're very large (4-8ft long)and aren't afraid to steal your food.

Malaise Angels

Status: Closed
Malaise angels are rarely spotted, but are seen as a terrible omen whenever they are. They are seen flying through the skies with an unknown origin or destination- there are maybe around 5 sightings per year per city. In recorded history there have been a handful of malaise angel attacks- it's uncertain why they attack, but they are able to divebomb the ground with force, causing a large explosion - there are a few small craters scattered throughout Tessarium from Malaise Angels.
